The aha-wokening Olympics

….I am sure I ‘woke’ up in some parallel universe somewhere where one can no longer enjoy just watching sports for the excitement of seeing your favorite team or player go that extra mile, no now we have to endure personal and political demonstrations by a number of disenchanted athletes.
Also gone are the days of continuous sports reports and replays of their amazing feats during a competition seemingly replaced by hours of talking heads analyzing why an athlete would take a knee or turn their back during their national anthem, and how at the olympics it showed true courage to do this in front of the whole world.
Common sense says that
it is disrespect
not
true courage
to disrespect the nation
that made it possible for them to compete.

TBG…. however just like we see currently across the US
there are more who do not support the principles
that our nation was founded on….

Politics in the game is more important than the game itself.
I quit watching the NFL for the kneeing and I quit watching the Mn.Twins because of the BLM & George Floyd signs all over the infield.
Sad indeed.

John I too have stoped “intentionally” watching sports of any kind.
I do miss a good football game every now and then
but soon the ‘globalists’ will have replaced
our football
with their soccer
