If your over 65 you may want to wait to get vaccinated?

December 18, 2020

I’m just wondering why when we have the TV networks on every newscast reporting on the Pfizer vaccine, (which is only 93.7% effective for people 56 and up), we do not hear word one about the 100% effectiveness of the Moderna vaccine for people 65 and older.

*******Once again the media have lulled me into believing that they know what they are writing about but as usual not true! In an article today 12/19 in Science magazine the effectiveness of the Moderna vaccine for people over 65 actually drops to 86.4%….. Now the problem becomes which article can one trust?

The Pfizer vaccine was given to a Juneau, Alaska health worker on Wednesday and resulted in a severe allergic reaction. She spent the night in ICU. No known allergies. Not something I want tontake!

      John,
My wife got the flu shot along with a shingles shot & ended up with a red & swollen arm & fever.

I agree with the above commenters. Two winters ago my wife & I were both very ill & I missed 12 days of work & $1000+ in bills after insurance because of some sort of virus. Almost was hospitalized.
I finally listened to our chiropractor & began to follow a list of supplements he had posted on the front counter. They include Vit. A, C, D, a probiotic of 30 billion units, fish oil, zinc, & liquid silver sprayed in my throat. This daily regimen has kept me without so much as a sniffle since then. Don’t buy the stuff at the local pharmacy which is about 1/2 filler. Spend the money & get the real deal.
Btw, I’ve never gotten a flu shot & from what I hear about this vaccine (possible tracking of you which could also be a conspiracy theory) I’m not interested.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!

I’ll take whatever is most effective for a 58 year old when offered. Get the flu shot every year, got the Shingrix series, and I stay away from people in general.
