Margie and I voted on the 27th at 8am. City hall opened at 7:30 & when we got there at 8 there must’ve been 35-40 people there.
    First day for electronic voting.
We waited for that given all the stories this year with absentee & mail in ballots.

Oergon has been voting by mail for ages. Dropped off my ballot in the drop box and am glad it was done. I’ve been impressed with the ways different counties have done things this year to get votes out there. So many people think that being a US citizen means we can vote. Well, it means we have the right..not the chance. Many places have fewer areas to vote or curtail hours so working people have to cut their hours in order to cast a ballot. I’m also looking forward to seeing it pan out like it was supposed to. Elections are NOT over in early November. This one will not be, for sure. In a time with our US torn by strife more chaotic than what sparked the Civil War, I pray for peace among our citizens as January’s votes are counted and the next step is taken by a new president or the one we have now.

Don’t give up Pete. Watch Arizona this week. The Governor and Secretary of State know it was too early to call and warned the media. It may shift to Trump before the week is out.
