Is it freedom of speech…. or anarchy?

July 22, 2020

Don’t you find it strange that black lives matter is protesting in Portland and not Chicago where over the weekend 65 mostly black people were wounded and 10 were murdered.

af3
….the evening was typical for a July in Texas, still in the mid 90’s and a humidity that would coat you with a film of moisture as you walked through it . The group started to gather about an hour ago in the restaurant parking lot in Pine Creek, Texas. There were now about 120 people and the protest march from the Pine Creek Independent senior center was now underway, and though it was only two blocks too the target of their anger, the nearby Post Office by the time they arrived they were definitely fired up.

When they arrived a few gave speeches about the problems they are having with missing mail and most importantly to them missing Social Security checks. The few police monitoring them started to try and break up the protest when their permit expired and many of them left….but a few stayed and this is when things got out of hand. Those remaining protesters started to spray paint the side of the building and others tried to light a small fire in the post office entryway. The outnumbered police called for reinforcements and soon the post office parking lot was a cloud of teargas with a number of seniors on the ground.

Far fetched you say? I say it is nothing more than what is happening literally every night in Portland. The rule of law in that city & state barely exists and with more and more of the political leaders there calling for the defunding of police it can only get worse.

The purpose of this piece was to show the absolute idiocy of people like the mayor and city council who say there protesters have a right to deface and attempt to destroy public property under the guise of freedom of speech.

I am getting tired of reading that it is alright for one group of people to riot because they feel they are oppressed but if you or I tried to deface a statue or start a fire in a public building we would be arrested and jailed and free speech not told it was our right to protest that way.

No matter the reason
if the rule of law keeps diminishing
our nation will end up
looking like
a mad max movie.

Portland, Washington 1960 and 2050 ?

    Hiya Pete.

I’m surprised you aren’t aware of the law that states, ” Hateful speech and activitie(s) to overthrow the government are lawful as long as it supports your point of view when you’re incapable of accepting US laws or election results.”

I’ll defend this great nation, the flag, and Constitution until my dying day. I trust others do too.

The media and liberals are desperate to unseat Trump. They’ll use any means necessary to do so and what we’re seeing is an attempt to do so. The camel’s nose is under the tent, and it’s disguised as BLM with a message so slick that many don’t think to look under the hood to recognize the threat they are to Old Glory. BLM does not equal black lives matter nor care about black lives as much as the LA Unified School District cares about kids. Have you seen their “social” demands to allow kids back to school? It barely has anything to do kids, it has everything to do with control.

BTW, received your email message. Thank you for the information.

Excellent comment TBG my only point of contention is (though I have never written a posting about it) I feel the democrats the American media and liberals are not working by themselves. I have always felt someone is pulling the strings of discord. The rioting because it is a world wide thing I seriously doubt people in France, Germany and across Europe even know who George Floyd is they are simply responding to someone paying them to marshal as many people as they can for the demonstrations. This way the puppeteer behind the curtain can then send in his antifa goons to create more discord.

But like I said I shy away from going down this road because I know i will be seen as just another…Michael Savage now I do agree with Mr Savage on quite a number of things there are times he does seem a bit extreme.

Logic follows the undertow is beyond that of what’s in front of us. Catholic church after Catholic church burn in France. 1 church burns, interesting. 2 churches burn, odd. 3 or more burn = a pattern.

Can’t add anything to what you two have said.
I think you’ve missed the tropical mess down there in Texas, Pete.
My brother & his wife just left this week for their new home in Mission. I called them yesterday to find they were in Ok. & didn’t have any idea what was happening!
Guess their home contractor called them later yesterday & so for now they’re holed up in San Antonio.
    Be safe & be well.
