President Trump, not a Roman but….

January 9, 2020

….at the height of its power, around AD 150, Rome controlled the greatest empire ever seen in in the known world. All nations knew of Romes power and that is why a Roman citizen could travel anywhere in the known world without the fear of harm, primarily because all the nations knew if that one Roman citizen was harmed the wrath of Rome would befall them and their nation destroyed.

In the 50’s, 60’s and even the 70’s this was how Americans traveling abroad were for the most part treated, but no more. We have seen our citizens taken hostage in countries around the globe just as we have see our military surrender when confronted by the Iranian navy. So why is this happening to a country that at one time garnered so much respect/fear?

The answer is quite simple the policy of our representatives in Washington has gone from ‘don’t mess with us’ to ‘I am sorry if I have offended you’. Until the current President took office we were a nation of politically correct apologists kowtowing to any nation with a grudge against us. For example we have the 400 million in cash that President obama sent on pallets in the middle of the night to bribe Iran or when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was informed about the attack in Benghazi and murder of our ambassador and failed to act proportionally. Now however it seems we have a President that wants that respect back and not by drawing a line in the sand and continually moving it backwards.

Now I am in no way saying that President Trump is 100% correct on his relations with other nation, no more than I am saying he does not speak/tweet without any thought of filtering his words. I am saying he does know when the United States must stand up for actions done against us.

Respect for our nation
over the years has been waning
even with past Presidents
pallets of money
to bribe
other nations

Now it appears we have
a President
that indeed wants to make the
U.S. great again

    Amen to that my friend.
Also adding Pres. Clinton handing N. Korea millions in a bribe to tone down their nuclear programs & calling it a “good deal for America.”
    Yeah right.
