Hi Pete, I’m glad you enjoyed the comic. It’s always more fun when others get a laugh out of it. π And Del is right on, I used to listen to trap-line chatter as a kid and just had to include something similar in the strip.
Why I write this blog....
As witnessed by some of you over the years I have absolutely no background in writing..... but I believe I have an abundance of common sense and can recognize when things are out of whack. I also still use as my foundation for life and writings the Bible and the Constitution.
This blog contains the musings, rantings and the infrequent well thought out writings of an 71 year old curmudgeon living off grid and far into the wilderness of Northern Alaska. For more about how I ended up on the edge of nowhere see 'about Pete' in the menu bar. Within this blog there are postings on almost every subject from prepping for disasters to flying saucers and from politics to families and love. I have touched on subjects from HAARP to ham radio and have taken you on a drive up the Dalton highway and out into the wilderness hunting Moose and Bears.
I encourage and welcome every comment because they mean my writing has struck a cord within you. Whether it be in agreement or in opposition to my posting it will be approved for publication, because I not only voice my support of freedom of speech I publish it! I rarely 'reply' to comments openly on my blog but prefer to email you and respond that way. I feel the comments section is a blog of sorts for those that read my postings.
