Apple vs the FBI… common sense vs muddy waters
Up here in the Alaskan wilderness when grave problems materialized and could not be overcome we would seek out the best person for the job. For example when we had a problem bear that attacked the animals on the ranch there was only one man to call to eradicate the problem. The same held true when traveling to an unfamiliar section of the Tanana or Yukon river you wanted the ‘best’ person for the job of guiding you.
So what is the problem with Apple and the FBI over breaking into the iPhone? We do live in the United States of America do we not? A nation that has smart missiles that can be launched from miles out in the ocean and hit the front door of a terrorist home hundreds of miles away, if we can do that how come we do not have someone at the FBI, NSA, CIA, or DOD that can not crack a cell phones code?
This does not reinforce confidence in the security of a country that captures every cell phone call, text and email made and stores it in some dark foreboding fortress in Utah. What good is it to have all this information when there is not one person in the millions of government employees who can hack that cell phone code?
Year after year we spend multi-billions of dollars on hardware and yet we can not afford to hire the best hackers in the world? Granted Apple made the iPhone and thus has a step up on cracking the code, but does this also mean there is no one else in the world who can do the same for our government?
Something is wrong with this picture

what our entire government can not…
