If you see Buddha sitting in the sun ……please let him meditate

December 15, 2015

petesunWell OK not exactly Buddha but come on pretty close, no? This morning I got up after my first nights sleep since Saturday night, and though without coffee the 65 degree air outside felt great. Later after attempting to rake and stay ahead of the falling leaves the end result was that it induced me to ‘meditate’ for a spell. To all those who have continued to follow my blog even though of late it has not produced the quality you have become accustomed to, I will endevor to emulate my T-shirt and resurrect that old curmudgen that we all know and love… kick him in the butt and make sure he pounds these keys entertaining and hopefully enlightening you once again.

For as you know full well there is a wealth of things to write about, from the terrorists attacks in Paris and California to the absurdity of yet ‘another’ continuing budget resolution and the definite lack of someone who could actually do the job competently as our next president. I will endeavor to awaken those dormant brian cells that have the insight to cut through the media and political propaganda and assemble these thoughts for your perusal.

In the meantime I leave you first with a recent photograph of the hills I pass each time I drive to Fairbanks and though severely burned this past summer they can still evoke the appearance of beauty with their present covering of snow.

Great to see you making vitamin D in the sun, Pete. Texas looks more appealing than AK right now!
