My neighbors chicken’s and the republicans

January 24, 2014

aliensI have a neighbor in Alaska who lives about two miles down the hill from me who raises chickens. One morning I was down at his place and he was putting feed out for the chickens and they were scrambling around like crazy trying to get as much of the feed as they could, even to the extent of pecking at each other to get out of their way. One would think they would die if they didn’t get the feed being spread before them that morning.

I know in the last posting I said I only had a couple videos and my good-by posting left but this morning as I slowly sipped my coffee and the brain cells started to activate, the words of a talk show host started to filter through. As she  continued to talk blood slowly started to drip from my eyes as my anger increased. It seems that now the Republicans are running scared (just like the chickens) and are now ‘completely‘ on the bandwagon of ‘illegal immigration reform‘. The republican lead congress now is working on four bills regarding illegal immigration reform including one that awards complete amnesty.

Apparently they have finally see the ‘political benefit’ (just as the democrats have had) of supporting people who are here illegally because it seems that somehow they do vote and influence election campaigns. Not wanting to loose any votes from those who think granting amnesty to someone who (broke the law to get into the US), they have a couple bills that do not grant this amnesty. The republican party is awash in indecision on how to re-gain the White House so now they are grasping at straws.

Our grandparents and parents came to America legally

today the laws are being changed to accommodate people who

disobey the law and do not want to assimilate

why are our representatives allowing this to happen?

Yup, need a ID to buy tobacco, alcohol, do a bank transaction, etc., but not for voting but let’s let these people in so they can vote for their favored politician & keep these pious idiots in power keep handing out the freebies. That’s all I can muster for now since I’m ready to choke.
Have a safe trip back, Pete. You may need a barrel of kitty litter to make it out of Fairbanks & up the Elliot! :)

Kitty litter, 6 months of food supplies, heating fuel, water but us ice road truckers can forget the chains. But I see when I get there it will be cooling off so here’s hoping!

The Republicans are self-imploding if you ask me. This whole Christie thing…something stinks. And as for illegal immigration reform? One word: Globalization with the U.S. at the helm. That’s the goal imho. Not that I agree with it of course, but that’s where we’re headed.

    or…. relocate them to
    Detroit.
Dayton, OH invited immigrants, legal and otherwise, to come in and repopulate and rebuild its bomb-shelled-ghost-town-of-a-city – the sections that American born residents and businesses had fled and the immigrants turned it around. Opened tiny family owned shops and restaurants and moved into and renovated crumbling Dayton

P.S. If the lower forty-nine turns into Far-Western-Europe I think Alaska will still be safe! You guys are tenacious in the best sense of the word.

Tenacious and for most of us prepared for everything from extended bad weather and disasters to a total devaluation of US currency.
