..WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST
SUNDAY…

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND LOCAL BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST SUNDAY.

* SNOW…4 TO 10 INCHES TOTAL ACCUMULATION…HEAVIEST OVER HILLS
AND LIGHTEST AMOUNTS ON THE YUKON FLATS.

* BLOWING SNOW…WILL CAUSE LOW VISIBILITY AT TIMES OVER
SUMMITS…ESPECIALLY ALONG THE STEESE HIGHWAY.

* FREEZING RAIN…IS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING WEST OF FORT YUKON WITH
ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE TENTH OF AN INCH.

    Hi! I looks like you all are having fun out there! Wish I were somewhere near snow. I just came across your blog today and I have to say, it’s amazing.     Of course I have not filled the hydraulic tank on the plow or checked to see if the windshield wiper blades fit that I found in the back room. Tomorrow should be interesting and time to get off my butt and get busy again. That certainly was a brief break from getting firewood and building to the winter chores of hauling in firewood and plowing the road.

    WOW! You guys get snow up there? Wait… That was a dumb question on my part (Smacks self upside the head)! lol I love winter storms, no work, school snow days (For the youngsters) and the beautiful sound of snow blowers in the distance of people digging out. :)

    Yeah, our 3-5″ here in Mpls. St. Paul petered out to about 2″ of slop, gone in a day, although up to 10″ did fall in SW Mn.
    The hysterical media people were out counting snowplows on the next morning news. And the roads were wet!
