Irony, politics and the new improved America?

Ironic but the men and woman who fought and died for our freedom during the second world war were once called the nations greatest generation but apparently today it is the millions of illegals who now own that title. We no longer respect and honor those who sacrificed their youth and in too many cases died to free so many nations in Europe. It is the people who ignore our laws, that were paid for in blood by our parents and grandparents, that now get more respect than those who fought and died.

There was a mass demonstration by pro-illegal immigration people on the mall in Washington today. It was near the world war two memorial that was closed to the men who fought in that war. These men came to Washington to pay their respects to their fellow brothers in arms who died and never returned to their homes. They were told it was because of the government shutdown that the mall and the memorial were closed. If this is true why were the promoters of the pro-illegal immigration rally allowed to use the same mall?

We know the administration has worked for many years to rid our schools the government and our lives of respect and honor for God and country. This is just one more glaring example of the underhanded politics that the administration is capable of. The administration and those that support it think most Americans will not notice this travesty. In truth most will not because their lives are so focused on chasing enough money just to pay the bills. When they do have time to think they fall into their easy chair and watch some mindless entertainment just to escape reality.

Personally I have thought long and hard over this evolution of what I call the new omerica. I still do not understand why we are being forced down this road away from the very fundamentals that were used to establish our country by our founding fathers.

If we can not wake up the 70% of our country that thinks:

Removing God from every aspect of our lives
Disarming everyone except the military
Allowing sex education by strangers to our school-children
Showing by example that spending more than we have is a good thing
That if we speak out against illegals we are racist and
speaking out against the government is a terrorist act….

Then our children and grandchildren will inherit
a country without the freedoms they deserve.
