Hurricane Sandy @#$#@

October 29, 2012

I ask, once again your indulgence for delaying my new posting, for something has come up and has to be addressed first….

Even here in a cabin 5,000 mile away, that storm is effecting our lives. My daughter Tricia is/was due to fly out of Fairbanks for Philadelphia Tuesday at one in the morning but now we hear that more than 6,000 flights have been canceled on the East Coast. So even as we face this we continue to put the finishing touches on packing at the same time making contingency plans. A job she was supposed to start on November 2nd has been notified and even with them understanding the situation one still can get a bit upset not knowing when she will travel to Philly. I will get back to my usual disturbed outlook on life in general and living in Alaska, later in the week.

Thanks for your patience and readership.
Pete

Don’t worry Pete, we can wait for your words of wisdom. Godspeed to Tricia; she’ll eventually get there. Just watching the local news; some pretty awesome pics from the East Coast.
