Happy fathers day Anthony

What is the measure of a man?

A thought worth pondering on fathers day. I guess it depends on which type of yardstick one chooses to use. Some may say a good man is any man who is honest, forgiving and courageous still others say one who stands beside and supports his wife and children through the good and the bad. I have heard it said on occasion a good man is a father that lived the teachings of his religion and sets a good example for his children.

Well I am here to tell you no one man has every one of these traits all the time. Because only one man in the history of this world was perfect we can expect to at times falter as we walk down this road of life. It is not these imperfections that prove the worth of a man but what he does to correct them and get back on the right path.

I see in my son now a father in his own right on this journey of life, beset with challenges but still full of love, support and hope for the future.

He is to me what a father should be….

    Pete,
Said with the thoughts & feelings of someone who knows & who obviously learned the moral character & how you conduct your life from your own father. Happy Father’s day to you too!

But, what you do not realize is…
how much of you is in him.

How much of you has made him who he is.
And that who he is today is a good reflection of you.
