Pictures = reality
When two people witness an accident, crime or even a debate, each individual will see things differently. The action observed can not help but be altered by the person observing. I thought I was done talking about the ‘occupy wall street’ people, I was wrong. Yesterday I found the picture below on the Drudge report, and it made me angry. I was in high school when President Kennedy spoke the words, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. Even as a teenager the words hit a cord and evoked an emotion that made a lot of people want to do something to help one another.
This picture of one of the OWS protesters turning around the presidents words exemplifies what the OWS movement is all about… Getting something for doing nothing. Anyway I have loved photography since my high school days running around taking photos for the school paper and year book. I have always believed in the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I ask you to visit the web site Portraits of the new revolutionaries and look at the photographs of the protesters.
You do not even have to read what the photographer has written,
the pictures will speak loud enough.
