Pictures = reality

November 27, 2011

When two people witness an accident, crime or even a debate, each individual will see things differently. The action observed can not help but be altered by the person observing. I thought I was done talking about the ‘occupy wall street’ people, I was wrong. Yesterday I found the picture below on the Drudge report, and it made me angry. I was in high school when President Kennedy spoke the words, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. Even as a teenager the words hit a cord and evoked an emotion that made a lot of people want to do something to help one another.

This picture of one of the OWS protesters turning around the presidents words exemplifies what the OWS movement is all about… Getting something for doing nothing. Anyway I have loved photography since my high school days running around taking photos for the school paper and year book. I have always believed in the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I ask you to visit the web site Portraits of the new revolutionaries and look at the photographs of the protesters.

You do not even have to read what the photographer has written,

the pictures will speak loud enough.

    Pete,
    First of all thanks for your kind comments on my last post.
    I went through these pics & became more disgusted with each one. These people have spent their whole “adult”? lives going from one protest to another. In the 60s they used to call these “happenings” as in Haight-Ashbury. They’re the new hippies of today, hopeless, aimless, drifting idiots with the drugs to go with it. Some of the most disgusting crap I’ve seen in a long time. What hypocrites too, using the very things & asking for the very things they’re pretending to protest against. They all need a good old whipping & sent home to momma if they know who their parents are that is.

    G’day Pete – followed your link to the Zuccotti Utopia and photos and was appalled! I assumed it was like that but I hadn’t seen such detailed photos nor read such ridiculous (when not scary!!!) quoted comments. I am glad to remind myself that I have NOTHING in common with those beings, nor will I ever have.

    Geeeeezzzzz…..

    Yes, they should be in Sheriff Joe’s care for a year or two, at the least. The tent city in Arizona, all dressed in pink, would be good for all of them. The lazy suckers are using all the stuff they claim to be protesting against, some are being paid to keep the movement going, and they did have an ad on craigslist to hire the protestors. I understand the one ad has been pulled after getting a lot of attention from non protestors. Too much time on their hands and nothing constructive to keep them busy and a marked lack of parental discipline as children all leading to this fine show of humanity.
