Freedom is not free

Freedom to do and say what we want, is usually taken for granted by most of us, comes at a very high cost. Never forget those that have served, fought and died allowing us to have this freedom. Besides prayers, a good way to honor there actions is to thank the next serviceman or women that you encounter.

Also let us not forget the veterans who are no longer here, that served in time of war when there country called.

    Pete,

THANK YOU for your service to our country. You 2 make a good looking couple!
I have a couple of veterans who ride my bus ( they all get free rides btw ) & I always thank them when they show me their ID .
Funny they have to show me their ID for their free ride, but we don’t have to in MN. for voting, but thankfully that may change.
On that subject, with the recent tornadoes in Mpls., my mechanic observed that the same people that require ID to get into the areas that were damaged by the storm are many of the same people that fight against it for voting. go figure.
